The Blue Ribbon

I remember the day i found that blue ribbon. It reminded me of your eyes. Bright, pastel, inviting but also so mysterious and bewildering. You took it, but of course you put up a fight. You didn't want something to remember me by.

I'm not proud that i gave you all of what i felt was special just to improve our crumbling relationship. Nothing seemed to make you happy with me or want me anymore. Nothing stopped you from cheating on me and leaving me standing in a mess to clean up by myself. You sabotaged my relationship with others and allowed others to sabotage our relationship. When i had finally done everything i could, given you possibly everything i could give you, you left. You didn't keep what i had fought so hard to give, but you threw it away. You threw a peice of me away. A chunk of me, gone.

Guess what? I still have my peice of you. No one will ever experience that piece you gave to me, even small no knew you the way you presented yourself to me. You treated me differently. You fed compliments, upped my emotions. Treating other people like crap but me so different. Why do you hurt the ones you love? Does it really make you feel that much better to hurt everyone? To jerk the table out from underneath them and leave them hurt and calling out? Why do you walk away? Does someone really need to hurt you, so that maybe you will realize what you do to others? I don't want to hurt you, i don't like to see you hurting. I tried to be someone different in your life, someone that you didn't want to hurt because i showed you how to not. But you went ahead and hurt me. I have nothing else to say to you.

But before you throw all of me away, can i atleast have my ribbon back?

Running for Freedom

The cut downs, the instilling of fear and barcoding anger into her mind would never cease. The bitter old man ruined her, and tore her down to her weakest level. His voice, so deep and scary, screaming at her to listen, to comprehend what he wanted but it was impossible. The girl had hit rock bottom, there was no where else to fall, no one to grab on to so they could save her. The tears running down her face, such a beautiful girl in such an ugly situation. He keeps going, pushing a worthless conversation into something so big, degrading her. Saying things that make him feel better, all he wanted was to feel worthwhile. To have the power over someone. The words hit her sharply, but bounce off. She has created a bubble around herself, completely checked herself out of the situation mentally. The man would never see the error of his ways, or what he was doing to his poor girl. How bad he was effecting her, damaging her emotionally. It was his ignorance, his anger, his own personal fear and his own problem with intergrity.

One day, the girl found some hope...someone at the top of the cliff yelling down for her. Someone was sending someone down to save her, someone extradionary and rare. He could beat anyone, he could over-power the bitter man and take her to a better place. He pulled her out, and she thanked him. He whispered in her ear, "Run, run fast now." She didn't think twice. She ran for the freedom that she yearned for within herself. She was so close, just a few steps more and she would be there. The man sat there laughing, taunting her to come back and counting the seconds, minutes, and days til she came staggering back to him. But she wasn't turning back, she would not allow herself to look back, only forward. She was not a child anymore, some may beg to differ but she could make her own decisions and she could learn to stand on her own. She didn't need anybody. She had found her own way, she was free.

I'm making you feel colddd:D

The freezing wind gusted aganist her cheeks making them sting. Her hands had turned a deep navy blue and the jacket on her back was soaked from the falling snow, and stuck to her skin tightly. Every footstep felt more painful than the one before. She longed for a nice warm home along the barren wasteland of ice and snow. The tears pouring down her face were freezing instantly, sometimes in her eyes...making it hard to see. The snow picked up harshly, piercing into her eyes and slamming unmercifully against her body. Her lips were frozen together and her teeth chattered contineously. It was almost impossible to see, and the poor girl stumbled falling in the deep snow. She felt no pain, the cold had taken all her feeling away. Every ounce of strength was gone and she laid there quietly and frigidly. She prayed and waited for someone to come rescue her. No one did.

Ch. 1 The woods

I was walking in the woods, two sticks in each hand, pushing throughou the green brush when i heard rustling in the distance. I stopped and began to look around. My eyes focused on a tall large manly object a few feet away from me. He was standing up and staring throughout the big oak trees. "Who are you?" I called out through the thick green brush.
The sun was going down, and it was becoming hard to see through the thick woods. I could barely what the guy looked like, i was searching for similarity. The guy didn't answer. I searched for it's face but it was too tall. He was also muscly, and almost monsterous looking.
"I SAID who are you?"
"What are you doing in here?" He asked, his voice was so loud it made me take a step back. "This is my land, i walk in here all the time." I told him. He disappeared. I looked around searching for him, i was becoming curious. "Get out of here, Caroline." The voice whispered."Why?" I asked. The voice was right on my neck."Wait! How the heck do you know my name?" "My name is Nicholas Banks." He whispered, in my ear now, sending chills down my back. "If i revealed why I was here, i would have to kill you." "Are you some kind of serial killer? Terrorist?" I asked him. "Are you here for me? My family?" I turned around quickly, and he shifted away in a blur. "I can give you no more information, Caroline." "Again, how do you know my name?" I asked."Enough questions." He said."You gave me no answers!" I squeled, leaning back on my heels. My dark brown hair blew in my face and i fought back against the wind to see his face. "You asked who i was, and i replied i am Jason." He said. "Now be on your way." I took a step back, and tried to see his face. He was so much taller than a regular person, it was almost felt impossible to be as tall as he was. "Caroline! Go now!" He yelled, and he ran towards me. I screamed and began to run, i didn't look back. I followed the river...i thought he was gone..when i heard more footsteps behind me...i turned around and 3 large men were following me, weaving in and out of the woods.

Rambling.

I look over at you, you are looking up at me.
You quickly turn away but glance back over when you think i am not looking.
What happened to us? All the lies, the fights, and tears. All the sleepless nights over you.
I can't lie, i've developed a grudge. I found that my heart breaks even more each day for you. You aren't the boy that i thought you were. It's hard to get attached and then figure out who a person really is, and its definitely hard to just accept it. And babe, thats what you expected of me. One day, i hope you figure out that its not how people are.
You high five me before class and then look at me in the eyes, and wrap your fingers around mine. Please just don't...play with the emotions anymore, babe. It's not fair.
You were one of the first boys i have ever liked, and you make me feel like i am the one who completely screwed it over, and i don't understand you. I will never understand you.

So this is to you, i am letting you go. I just want you to one day analyze what you have done to me, and why this has hurt me so bad. Maybe, that will happen...maybe.

The girl and the guy

She stares out over the ocean, hair blowing out behind her, tears running down her cheeks. He puts his hand on her shoulder, she quickly shrugs away. Thoughts swirl through her mind a thousand miles an hour, how can he do this? Why now? What happened? She cries inside. Turning, to take one more look at him before she leaves, "I love you" She whispers, the boy stares at her exasperated, speechless. Defeated. He doesn't know what to say or how to get out of the situation he has created. Stuck because he doesn't know what he wants, or how to figure it out. He thought he was doing the right thing, but is beginning to regret the decision. He really loves her, little does he realize. "I'm sorry, i thought..." Beginning to explain the boy, reaches out again for her arm. But the girl pulls away and marches off the beach down the trail to her house, leaving memories behind for the last time. "Wait! Wait!" She hears, turning around sharply...ready to yell and scream at the boy, he yells "I love you too! I'm wrong and i'm sorry!" and with that he began to run faster, picking her up as he runs past her and never letting go.

Photography is new to me, i don't know really what i'm doing but its just a way that makes me feel like i'm capturing someones beauty and their personality and saving it. It's an awesome feeling, i can't hardly describe it. And i love when people like it too, i think its something that makes people happy too. I sometimes wonder if i'm doing it right...but hey...they are all beautiful so i guess thats what counts.
